Fresh Prose features the writing of Kristin Alexander, award-winning journalist, actress and public relations pro.

I named my freelance business Fresh Prose to convey what I value most in writing: creativity.

Whether critiquing a new play, recounting my journey through an underground missile silo, or describing the work of a renowned landscape architect, I choose my words carefully. Through my stories, I seek to not only educate and entertain but to ultimately invite readers to experience a moment, a place or a work of art through my observations.

I apply the same three-pronged approach to my work in public relations that I do in journalism. First, give your audience or readers a taste of what’s to come so they hunger for more. Next, make your point while you have their attention. Finally, leave a lasting impression.
